Comparisons of Miller DD Pencils to Final Inked Version

5 posts in this topic

ComicLink recently sold a Miller / Janson DD page from issue # 172 page 11. At the time, in an older post, someone inquired about Frank's pencils.

I recently came across full size photocopies of some of Frank's pencils. One of the copies is the aforementioned page. I DO NOT own the original art.

If my link below is done properly, you'll be able to see the comparison between the pencils and a scan of the original inked by Janson provided by ComicLink. (btw - Congratulations to both buyer and seller).

This is for reference only.

Cheers!

I will post more as time allows.

These are full size 11 x 17 photocopies of his pencils. There were no digital copiers back in those days. Some of the copies have that dusty toner feel to them, some are dark, some are streaky. I have to take digital photos which is very time consuming.

I do not have every single issue or page from his run.

Cheers!
