You dropped a bomb right in my kitchen with this gem Barton (although I loved the Avengers 113 too). The Avengers/Defenders War books were right behind the AA 11-17 run at the top of my grail list.

 

WB, I have to agree with you there WB, they were great books, with a fantastic feel to the stories... I'm a gonna track em down again, simply fantastic reading!!

My God! a copy of Nick Fury #16(1970) in CGC 9.8 listed in the prior thread posting.

Its Marvels 1st 52 page 25c cover price format book they ever released. I would imagine that book could sell between $3K and $4K in that high of grade!
