Is there a small spine split in the lower left corner? The way the front cover has a heavy crease in that corner, but none on the back, seems to suggest it. I'd say a strict 3.5, maybe a soft 4.0 if no split.

It's a small split, just checked the book

The split will hurt the book, without question. I am revising my initial grade with this new information. A very nice 3.5.... It's a shame really. I like this book...
