I expected that when I got down to the last fifty, but now it's drying up with over 150 to go.

I imagine you have an Overstreet Price Guide? I would go through the ads and contact dealers in there with your want list. I'm not saying you haven't done that but there are some dealers who may have the books you are looking for sitting in their stock. David Alexander for example probably had that Animal Antics comic for months before he listed it on his website and then ebay. Have you tried Robert Beerbohm or Graham Crackers? There are a lot of smaller dealers who may be able to help. You've reached a point where it's going to take a lot of persistance and patience. We are cheering you on!

Why don't you clarify on your list which issues you haven't ever found for sale, vs those that are findable but where you need to find a copy at the right price (eg, Det #27 I imagine).

 

I'd be willing to shop for some of these but without knowing your interest in repurchasing an issue if I found one I haven't made the effort. For some of those that ought to be affordable if findable, post a low/mid-grade copy Buy Price. Armed with that info, you can turn loose your Legion of Substitute Comics Shoppers to do your bidding! smile.gif

 

Also, how about posting some pics of some of your finds that were elusive and were found somewhere other than eBay? Share the story behind the hunt... Just a thought.
