Comic Connect - Did this just happen?

I bid on a few CC auction items "ending" on Saturday at 10PM. Like the last auction, they added an "extended bidding period" which is another half-hour.

 

Apparently, this time they decided to extend the bidding for a full 24 hours... I went to check the status of my bids at 10:20 and, to my surprise, they were ending in 23+ hours.

 

Either I'm going crazy or just seeing things. If anyone can explain this phenomenon, I'm all ears.

I couldn't even connect to the inaptly named Comicconnect from 9:55 to 10:18. Finally got through to find all auctions extended 24 hours. What a joke. There is sometimes a whiff of dishonesty at Comiclink and Heritage but this is a stench.

I KNEW that I wasn't nuts, and I'm certainly sober. What a farce this turned out to be. I wonder how the guy who bid close to 80K on the 8.5 Fantasy 15 feels about right now.

 

I wonder if they have a bid retraction option... if not, I want a discount if I win. What a crock.

Extended last-minute to give Baltimore visitors a shot at it - 50-1

 

The Northeast weather - 100-1

 

Their dog ate the bids - 1,000-1
