OT: Lego Batman Canister help - Hero: Power Crazed Penguin / Under the City

I'm down in the sewer in "Under the City", I am in the 2nd room with the 2 large tanks. My minikit indicator is blinking off to the far right, just outside the riddler doorman. How do I get this canister to appear? I have the one inside the gated room, I'm specifically asking what I need to do to get the one outside the room to appear.

My 7 year old son has just started playing this on his Nintendo DS this afternoon...if he gets there and solves it, I'll let you know...providing I understand it if of course

My son says if you are playing freeplay you can turn to the Riddler to activate that door.
