I Tawt I Taw a Putty Tat (scary)

Can't you make fun as long as it's a clear spoof. A la Mad Magazine among others?

Mad is a satire magazine, with a clear history of parody and probably a big legal, as I would imagine they still get sued by various celebs and media giants. Check out the case of the "Uncensored Mouse" to see how little protection parody really brings you - hint, none.

These tasteless "posters" are far more gray area, and it could likely be argued that they do have a harmful effect on the brand.

I never really wondered about it, and just accepted them as bizarro cartoons. (shrug)

I personally feel that comic superheroes are far more deserving of this treatment - all the heroes and villains would be long dead by now, a la The Authority.
