I pity the fool who doesn't sell you the cover.

Cheers!

Ouch, ouch and double ouch. That joke was pitiful! (Sorry Nelson).

As for the actual thread . . .

Good luck with your cover hunt.

I don't think that the cover should go for more than a couple of hundred even though the great John Romita drew it - it is really a horrible cover.

But in this hobby, whenever someone expresses an interest in something, regardless of whatever else might be happening in the economy, there is a magical thing that happens to the price . . .

Best regards.

No matter what anyone else says, KreeSkrull99, you're exactly right to want the OA to this cover.

When it's the first comic you've ever read, the artwork has a special magic. Plus: It IS by John Romita.

It seems like just yesterday I was reading that comic

Hard to believe its been almost 20+ years

Why not try for some pages? I'd think those would be easier to find. Then IF the cover does pop up buy that.

I really only like covers

That is, for me, the memorable portion of the comic

I dont even remember the story too well

Just generally , that I loved it !!!

Worst case scenario, and this is a distinct possibility, you cant find the OA t othe cover, Why not commission a cover recreation??

I would think that a Romita recreation would be pretty expensive but what would I know.

You could have someone else do the recreation. Then it should fall within your budget.

Exactly my thoughts. Find some one in a similar artistic style.
