Adventure Comics 431..Spectre. I may slab and keep this one just for the cover!

The thing I didn't notice when I brought it was the thin line running between the 'Adventure' and 'Comics'. It feels like a trace of glue from a stamp or something...still cool cover!

yes it is a cool cover, and i was shocked when i learned jim aparo did it.

That glue is definitely a grade-killer and falls under the veil of "unknown stuff".

Aparo's covers are just a notch below Adams' in most cases... but still pretty great.

 

Have you considered Wonder Breading that blemish? Looks like that might really work well in this instance, and if it doesn't, no harm done...

I don't know Garth..Wonder Bread works for scuffing I've heard, but this is more of a trace of something, like glue. Good idea though. Maybe I'll give it a try.

just love that cover way cool, try the Wonder it really is and hope for the best, man still love those Spectre Adventure issues
