Five signatures! Too much of a good thing?

In my opinion this is going a bit too far. What do you guys think? Are these signature orgies the next big thing?

Well, given that it is basically a blank cover, the sigs aren't really detracting from any art... However, wouldn't it have been cooler to get a nice sketch from one of those guys, rather than cover it with sigs? My

Try books such as the Ultimate Spider-man 100 project which I have over 15 on. I see multi-signed books as a great thing as long as the artist contributed something to the book or the character. Although McFarlane, Stan Lee and Romita Sr had little to do with this actual book, each of them put thier distinct mark on the character.

If they all contributed to the book how do you decide who gets left out.

I have this one where all the artist's signed. Multi Sig Orgies rock

I've got a Heroes For Hope with about a dozen legends on it, and it's probably my favorite book that I own. I think these are great, but I agree with my Zeck hero that the book should have a contribution in some way.

I have a book, Rob Zombie's Spookshow International #1, with 3 sigs on it and it's going to the Colan signing for a 4th. By the time all it said and done I should have about 9 or 10 sigs on it. Hopefully I can get a Rob Zomibe sig on it someday too.

I don't mind it on the all black cover, I actually think its rather sharp looking. I don't like a lot of signatures covering a beautiful pictures but on a basic cover like ASM 36 I think its nice.

Sure, they ain't regular comics, but they are comic size (convention programs).
