Four Color 68, loaded with Walt Kelly goodness

 

 

 

Superman 68. One of the most expensive comic books that I bought up to its time. First Luthor cover in this title and a classic element story (the cover is about tungsten). I think this is my own copy but cleaned up in Photoshop for our website.

 

 

All-American Men of War 68. We've already seen a better one.

Found another 67 to cap off the day....Went out for a cruise in my convertible on this beautiful sunny 82 degree Arkansas day.....

 

Well....it's a '67 isn't it? And the "Route 66" plate is for yesterday.

What a coincidence that Batman #68 and Detective #68 both have Two-Face stories and covers, but Detective #68 has the first Two-Face cover.
