Cover is tight to book.

 

Some of the inner page conners are nipped at the top and bottom. About 1/8" - 1/4" deep. Possible a bug chew. Didn't realize this when I bought it.

I've never understood why some comics lose the tips of the inner pages. I have some like that.

 

Nice looking book. I was going to say 5.0 without considering the page issue. I really don't know if you'd drop a midgrade book for that defect or not.

Yeah I'd say 5.0 as well. Cool book, that LB could whip up a pretty sweet cover!

I'd go with a 4 - the chips on the edges bringing it down just a touch. Great cover.

 

I love the Cole covers, and am wondering if the dramatic crash was a regular theme. This is one that passed through my hands that I liked. If he did several, I might need to consider putting together a set of them.
