Help with X-Men 303

I don’t have a scanner yet, but I found an odd book while digging through my collection.

 

Uncanny X-Men 303

 

The copy I have does not look like the others sold on Ebay or that I can find on the net. What drew my attention is that the area where the retail barcode goes is blank. There is just a empty rectangle. Later, I find out that the background of the book was white, but this one is a metallic copper (but not foil).

 

I have no clue how I ended up with this book and it is not a reprint. Any clues?
