Yep I have one of each. I bet that KS sent out 1 replacement copy of the fixed version to all the retailers that ordered it initially making it a 50/50 print run in a sense.

 

My LCS owner said today he bought his from the distributor. Would love to know the print run.......................on these errors before Kitchen Sink stopped them from going out.

It's most probably like you suggested, a 50/50 split on availability once they realized there was an error and started replacing with the corrected copies.

 

Still, first time I ever heard there was an error edition. Great catch!
