Wolverine & The X-Men

24 posts in this topic

I catch this on Sunday mornings on... Teletoon, I think.

It's okay. I'm not sure I like it as much as X-MenTAS in the 90s (that seemed somewhat truer to the comic and less Wolvie-centric). That said, I do like it.

My favorite toon right now is definitely Spectacular Spider-Man. It's really enjoyable week-week and pulls quite a bit from Spidey 60s - 80s continuity. (They did the black costume thing too quick just like Hollywood does, but it's still good.)

Can't say I'm in love with Brave and the Bold, though.

I also watch on Teletoon in Canada. They have a good Sunday morning line-up:

9:00 - Batman - Brave and the Bold

9:30 - Ben 10

10:00 - Wolverine and the X-Men

10:30 - Spectacular Spider-Man

My kids and I like Ben 10 the most. They are advertising a live action movie in the works. We also like Spectacular Spider-Man. I find the theme song to be excellent.

How does it compare to X-Men: Evolution? My son can't get enough of that series. While we were in Petsmart today, he kept taking his sunglasses every few seconds. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "My name is Scott, Daddy! Kablam!" :roflmao:

lol:applause:

This series is pretty cool. It doesn't have the heart and drama of the 90s series but it has cooler villains and obviously much better animation. More characters too such as Nightcrawler, Shadow King, Psylocke, Emma Frost, Quicksilver and Domino. It just kind of funny how busty and scantily clad the females are considering it's a kid's show.

Psylocke was an interesting addition...didn't expect to see her or Domino for that matter!
