I'd go for Looper.

Avengers on Sky Box office was dissapointing.

Not as great as I remember it in the cinema.

+1 about Looper.

Avengers is a great film, no-matter how many dimensions you watch it in, it's just that you can always see it on Box Office at a later date. Get yourself down to the cinema and watch Looper on the big screen.

Could always do both, now that I think about it...

Sit in the cinema and watch Avengers on your iPhone???

Just cause you have SkyGo doesn't mean you should watch any old on it!

Those Boro games are bad enough :baiting:

Looper was a very good film. I went expecting to be disapointed and enjoyed it a lot. Out of the films I have seen at the cinema this year, I would rank them like this

1 Dark Knight Rises

2 Looper

3 Hunger Games

4 Chronicle

5 Avengers

6 Prometheous

7 American Reunion

8 Ted

9 Storage 24

10 Amazing Spider-man

11 John Carter

12 Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D

I may have seen more but I can't remember...

Hunger Games -

"Hey, we have to go fight and kill everyone and try not to get killed"

"damn, I have to tell you I've always loved you then"

"I love you too"

The end.

Crikey Gaz, Hunger games was beyond appalling

Now you tell him....

anyone going to Leeds Mart on the 20th?

Haven't decided yet. See how I feel on the day.

You getting a stall?

Yup, got 2 tables again. Around 20 shortboxes of

recent Marvel, DC & Indies at £1 each. 1 box of variants, 2 boxes of mini series

and a pricey box.

hm anything nice, Gold/Silver, Raw/Slabbed?

And I completely disagree (shrug) Each to their own really. I went to see it because the Missus wanted to see it (wouldn't in a million years otherwise) and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact I enjoyed it enough to buy and watch again on BD. It was everything that made Twilight good (which was not much) mixed with the Japanese film, Battle Royal. It lacked an edge but it was great escapist entertainment, I agree the plot was simple but sometime the simplest things are the best. :)

Good to know. Looks like my decision is made (although the fact that Hunger Games is so high on your list is a little alarming...)

I am in the bad books also, I have been off work for 5 days and she has been away.

When she came back yesterday :o she found me sitting where she had left me, unshaven, surrounded by 5 days worth takaways, dishes, washing & a long box of comics spead out on the living room floor.

She asked what I had been doing, I replied watching sci-fi films and messing about on the boards buying comics. :acclaim:

She was not a happy bunny for some reason. :screwy:

I will never understand women. (shrug)

You have the perfect life.

Apart from living in Newcastle :baiting:
