pen arrival date on a bronze book?

I have a BA book that's 9.4-9.6 but has a neat pen arrival date on the cover. How does CGC treat this?

Good question. I know they hammer moderns on this, are lenient with SA & GA books, but I really haven't seen what effect is has on BA books.

I would also like to know. I just bought a book with 2/26 written in pen on the cover. Will it get a green label? Thanks

It won't get a green label, but on SA/GA books, it's often not factored into the grade. I'm interested to find out if that holds true on BA books.

Like I said, as long as it is relatively innocuous, it won't have any impact on the grade.

Seriously, I believe I saw a handwritten date on a blue label Hulk #181.....not sure if it was high grade though or not...could of been mid grade.

I had a small penciled price on the BC of an X-Men 141 that was a 9.2. I don't think it would have graded higher without it.
