1. Will they only sign their new Obama books?

They are willing to sign books other than their Obama books, however, we

will have a 'vip' (faster moving) line for folks who have/purchase one of

their new Obama books (and you will be able to have additional books signed

as well in that line.) There will be a limit to the number of books you can

have them sign in one trip through the line, that number dependant on the

amount of people that show up for the signing. (Usually its around 10, but

you can then go through the line again and have more signed.)

2. Do you have a CGC Witness available to get the books submitted for the

Signature Series?

We will not have a CGC signature witness available.

3. If you don't have a witness, but one could be arranged, would you allow

such a thing?

You are more than welcome to bring your own CGC signature witness.

Honestly? If I was at a Con and I knew he'd be there, I'd have a stack of books for him to sign. Regardless of flaws in his stye, I grew on his art and absolutely loved it as a kid. He wins mad nostalgia points all the same. And while many harp on him about the "no feet" "pouches for everyone," "inflatible boobs," etc, I find them more funny than anything now. AND, I've heard he's a pretty cool guy to his fans which I can totally respect.

Well, he did leave on Saturday afternoon and did not come back on Sunday, so people like me that kept forgetting to go to his booth didn't get one. He's coming to New York this weekend so I have a 2nd chance, though. :)

Liefeld will be at the image booth at the NYCC, is that true?

I met him during the very early 90's. He used to be a good friend of my friend that I used to work for (at his comic shop in Orange county). He would come in, hang out and just start doodling on backing boards. We used to have a stack that we would give away to the kids that would come in. I traded my 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card to Rob for his OA of the cover to New Mutants #87. Stupid me traded that away for a bunch of baseball cards a few years later :sorry:

He was a cool person to talk to.

Liefeld was doing sketches today at NYCC, I saw them myself.

I got him to sign my New Mutants #98!

But I didn't have enough $ to put it in my SS books list. :(

Oh well, such is life...

That would still look cool in a mylite 2!! Don't forget to post some pics!!
