Help w/ grade...

What does this look like? I'm not 100% sure on the impact of the printing issue w/ the ink fade at the bottom of the cover. Thoughts?

rshale: it's tough to grade the overall book given that the corners/edges are not all completely visible in the scan...?

 

As for the 'fading' at the bottom of the cover, can you determine with a high degree of certainty that this is not a production defect of some kind, but is in fact wear to the bottom of the cover? It looks like it might be a printing defect, in which case CGC may not penalize the book much, if at all, on that particular point.

i agree... i have seen quite a few of these in higher grade with that same production flaw. would love to see the corners on this as well.

I agree. I have seen a lot of the "fading" for this particular issue.

careful there, I got one of my stars taken away for posting a scan with no corners!

Of course I f*d it up 3 posts in a row and came off looking like someone off the short bus...
