Information on Canadian issues of American comics is sadly lacking.

I wish there was a detailed info website documenting their history or at least a wiki entry that could satisfy our needs for a complete history and value info but I have not come across one myself yet. pray.gifpray.gifpray.gifpray.gif

Yes, it's not uncommon for GA books to have only one staple in the middle due to wartime conservation. This one looks like it only has one staple at the bottom due to a manufacturing defect, although the picture is so blurry it's hard to tell if I'm seeing it correctly.
