We will have local collector/dealers from the Houston area as well as the Austin and Dallas areas.No big time dealers mostly collector/dealers with some great deals on silver age and bronze age comics and of course tons of moderns.

 

Board members get in free ! (10am - 5pm only)

Yes ,The show happened.It was beautiful sunny day in Houston which probably affected attendance. Attendance was 137 paid collectors.Most of the dealers were selling moderns from $1.00 to $3.00 and some low grade silver age /bronze age.Most of dealers were from the Houston area however we also had dealers from Killeen,Austin and the Dallas area (Frisco).

 

A quick survey of the dealers reported total gross sales of between $250 - $1400.

 

A Golden Age Capt.Marvel in fair -good condition sold for $110 to a older collector from California who was visting relatives in Houston.He purchased because he thought it was a good deal.The dealer originally was asking $400.

 

Dealers with lots of high grade silver age / bronze age could do well at the next Houston show as that was was the most requested items by collectors wanting to spend cold hard cash.
