Got this email from Mike yesterday

 

Vendors, artist, and sponsors,

 

Only 5 days until Captain's Comic Expo, and we have been busy sharing the word out for the show (and your participation in the show). Flyers are spread throughout downtown as the CofC students return from spring break. We also have flyers and signs in West Ashley restaurants South of Philly Pizzeria and Sunflower Cafe. Thursday, I had a 3 minute spot on ABC's morning show "Lowcountry Live" promoting the Expo as well as our sponsors. There are also rumors of a Channel 2 appearance at the end of this week. Thanks to all of you for promoting the event and working so hard with us to set up Captain's Comic Expo for success!

 

Due to popular request, we are also obtaining the convention hall at 8am instead of the previously mentioned 9am. Though the tables will still be arriving closer to 9am, feel free to come in any time after 8am to get any displays built or merchandise moved in. Booth locations will be available at the door. Also, if you have any door prizes that you wish to give away, please let me know. We will have all the items on display and can make signs and announcements to give your generosity credit.

 

We have also had multiple artists sign up for the event to sketch for the attendees. Sketches are always a favorite part of comic expos, so we are very excited to have them.
