Jonah Hex #1 9.8

With the movie coming in 2010, I decided to look at how much HG copies of the first issue of Jonah Hex were going for. After some research, I discovered that multiple 9.8 copies have surfaced in the last year driving prices down ($400-$450).

 

"Jonah Hex 1 [in 9.8]… (5). I only ever heard of 1 copy surfacing and never had one cross my path."

Nope.

I have two raw copies that aren't anywhere near 9.8

 

As an aside, I think Overstreet is completely out of whack on the values for the early issues of this series.

I own a copy. #1 is no longer "scarce" but I think the general price will go up as demand increases. I don't see 9.8 copies of most of 2-10 so I suspect that's because folks aren't submitting them. It is bronze, after all.
