I posted this TORCH #5 earlier in this thread (I think), but I liked the cover with the original back page house ad (back cover of DARING MYSTERY #8). The ad uses the art from the cover of MARVEL MYSTERY #9, no less!! It looks great as a line drawing.

 

Is there a thread on house ad's? I love house ads!!

Nice. I was surprised to read in Kirby biography, "Tales to Astonish" that issue #13 was their first real success at the bookstand. What the heck were people doing leaving issue #9 on the shelf.

Nice Sub-Mariner #13 Jon! Cool cover, and I don't remember seeing it before. I've seen hooded nazis, but I don't think I've seen the hooded Japanese before.
