I don't remember hearing that tickets have sold out in the past (I could be wrong), but the line to purchase tickets on Saturday is usually quite long. The pre-order line would save a lot of time, unless you get there really early.

The TicketMaster site says you can't pick up pre-purchased tickets at the show. I'm not sure if they have to be mailed (if they'll arrive on time) or if I print them at home? I'd hate to buy a ticket that arrives late or is lost in the mail. Anyone know?

Just buy it through the website, using the Ticket Express service, so you can print them at home. I've been using that for the past few years (usually around the time that tickets are available for sale), and it's been great.
