Slab worthy?

12 posts in this topic

Can't tell too much from inside the bag, but...

It's a tough book to get in high grade...real tough....but this one isn't high grade. The corners and the top edge are going to bring in down below the 8.0 mark, 8.0 at best IMHO, and there looks to be spine stressing, also. Would need a better scan to say precisely how far below 8.0...

If it was going to get 8.5 or better, I'd say slab away. Otherwise, I can't see the increase in sale price covering the slabbing fees.

That's my feeling, for what it's worth. confused-smiley-013.gif

Two corner creases, at least three spine creases-I'd say 7.0-7.5 range. And I haven't factored the cleanliness of the back cover and overall page quality. CGC seems to be tougher IMO with Bronze than say GA books. These aren't the marks that would justify the return on slabbing fees, although the cover is defintely groovy, dude!

Good luck.
