I would like to recommend Flash Comics # 96 to you....it has an Infantino Flash story featuring Rose and Thorn with an AWESOME splash and the Kubert Hawkman cover and interior is off the chain. It's one of the tougher ones to find ,however....easily as scarce as the 104.A stellar book with two all-time greats working on the characters that made them famous....and it's got a Black Canary story to boot....hope you can find one,Pat....here's a LINK TO FLASH 96 but this one is already sold.GOD BLESS...

The amazing thing about Joe Kubert has been his ability to continue to remain relevant on the comics scene. If you haven't read it yet get a copy of Faxes from Sarajevo which is a true story about a cartoonist Mr. Kubert knew living there during the war and his efforts to get his family out.

 

Joe also opened the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon Art in New Jersey. So not only was he one of the earliest contributors to the Golden Age but he continued to remain a major force in comics for many decades.

As a native of New Jersey now living in California I beg to differ! I went back to design school (Art Center College of Design in Pasadena) at age 27 to change careers. Later I went back and got my masters in business at age 40 while working and raising twins! Never to late to go back to school, art or otherwise!

 

Both were great experiences and allowed me to more with my working life.

 

Give my regards to the Garden State, despite living in the Golden State since 1982 there are still many things I miss about New Jersey.
