A warning to anyone looking at this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEW-SIGNED-ROB-GUILLORY-original-sketch-work-with-COA-comic-con-/181072628922

This is fraudulent! Local shop does not issue COA's and manager has posted this on their FB page. The Nerve!

I doubt anyone on these boards would have fallen for that one. Wow. So obvious.

Guys,

I have been collecting CHEW since issue #20 and love it. I purchased the TPB and I'm all caught up in the series. Hopefully SHOWTIME makes this into a show. It would be great to watch Dexter and have CHEW come on right after.

I have one question does anyone know the print run for issue #1?

Watch the dumping frenzy on ebay now!

List and sell before the world notices.

I loved it up until about #10 - then meh

The only thing saddening me is that I have 1 x #1 left.

Genuinely sorry for you Jeff - you worked hard collecting all those SS copies.

FIRE SALE!! :sorry:

Nah - thats just to stupid for words Ryan.

Steve Niles was on that list, I don't think it would be cool to BS another writer.

Actually Miso - you have inadvertantly raised a good point.

A lot of peeps on CG maintain its only TV/Movie rumours that bump up prices.

This should see if they are right or not.

BTW - I am genuinely sorry for anyone that has a stack of these - I would not wish any of my fellow boardies to take a financially hit - that is said with all sincerity.

I feel bad for anyone investing with TV speculation in mind also.

On the other hand, maybe now I can actually afford a #1.

This I only do small speculation on comics I read and enjoy. I have my personal run of chew and that's it. I did list my chew #1 yesterday in the sales forum not because I feel like jumping ship but because I want to raise funds for Saga. I have no dog in this fight.

Do I think the prices will dip? Yes. Does chew still have a very loyal and strong reader base? Yes.
