  1. I recently got out of the hobby so I'm not aware what the current market is. I found a long box full of Image #1's that I forgot about. I have a bunch of Jupiter Legacy #1's that I purchased off the shelf. Most are the regular cover (A) All are 9.6/9.8 contenders. Does anyone know what I could get for them?
  2. I highly recommend this member. We met in person to conclude a deal we had made. He purchased ASM #300 and ASM #252 in CGC 9.8 condition. The deal went perfect and he honored the price he quoted he would pay me. I look forward to future trades with this member.
  3. Marvel Team-Up #1 CGC 9.4 WHITE PAGES $750 90-day GPA average = NA 12 month GPA average = NA According to GPA there has not been a sale since July of 2018. Two copies sold that month for $723 and $750. A copy sold in a ComicLink auction this year for $863. There's one copy currently for sale on ComicLink for $1,100. There's currently three copies for sale on EBAY. The asking prices are $1,100, $1,097, and $999. This is a tough comic to find in Near Mint condition. According to the CGC Census there are 79 copies graded 9.4, 13 copies graded 9.6, and only 3 copies graded 9.8. Here are the when purchasing: Buyers in US only. No Hall of Shame or Probation List Members. First unconditional IN THE THREAD gets the book. Payment due within 3 days of sale. NO RETURNS as this is a professionally graded book. Please PM me with any questions. I live in Southern California.
  4. Guys why are prices being discussed in a sales forum? This rarely happened years ago. Please don't discuss prices in my or anyone's sales threads.

  7. How do I do that? I'm not sure how to change the topic name?
  8. I will rename it to whatever you guys want. There was a lot of great info and I thank everyone.
  9. You are correct but in high grade they are hard to find. Here's the census as of today: 9.8 - 3 9.6 - 13 9.4 - 79 There are less than 100 graded copies in Near Mint condition. There are 12,000 + copies graded in at least Near Mint for Amazing Spider Man #361.
  10. Since your not taking returns on raw books can you please give more detail about the grades of the books. What percentage are Fine, VF, NM? Thank you
  11. There's actually two 9.4 copies available on EBAY right now. That's the first time since I have been checking that there's more than one 9.4 copy. The sellers are asking for $1000 and $1100. Namisgr I like your copy the most.namisgr
  12. Namisgr is the book up for auction yours? If so I apologize for my post as I was not aware.
  13. Prediction time - Will this sell for more/less than $800?
  14. Great stuff Stephen. Thank you for posting this.
  15. Thanks. I have read that thread before. It's pretty much the same discussion we had in this thread. Has anyone ever asked Kirkman the question?
  16. I had the entire set #1-#170 in CGC 9.8. Unfortunately I had to sell it plus 90+ percent of my CGC collection last year. Family emergency plus my oldest daughter got married.
  17. Besides the lockdown I'm doing ok. It's good to see you posting again.
  18. At one time I had issues #1-#170 in CGC 9.8 condition. Because of a family emergency and my oldest daughter's wedding I had to sell 90% of my CGC collection. I no longer have Walking Dead #1 and I'm not fishing for validation to hold onto a book. Why would you assume that? I'm merely bringing up a topic to discuss which we all have the right to do. I also DO understand the difference between Comichron's sales numbers and a "print run". Like you said there have been many forums dedicated to it. Why are you assuming I don't? There have been ample Walking Dead threads and I can't recall one thread that thought the 7200+ figure was way off. If there is I would love to read it. Let me ask you this how many copies do you think are out there? Let's say you won a million dollars if you could guess within 500 copies of the real number. What number would you pick? The print run for Walking Dead #1 is low. Even if there are 20% more copies than what was reported we are still looking at less than 9,000 copies. Let's say it's 30% higher we are still looking at less than 10,000 copies. The low number of copies available will help the book. I do not own this book and I'm not trying to pump up the comic- which is absurd to think that anyone on a message board could do that. I'm discussing a comic that I happen to love. It brought me back to collecting after a 20+ year absence from the hobby.
  19. What's absurd? It's a comic message board and we are discussing comics. If you don't like the subject matter that's your right but it does not make it absurd. I have read probably 1000 different topics on the CGC board over the years and I never thought one was absurd. Yes some I did not care for but I'm sure other people did.
  20. The point is the low print run should help with the value of the comic. If your saying that the 7200+ number is not exactly on the noise then we agree. Let's say just for discussion that the number is 10 percent higher. You are still looking at a print run less than 8,000 copies. That's still a very low number which again helps the value of the book. Do you think the print run is over 8000? Over 10,000? If so do you have any evidence to back that up? I'm not trying to argue with you. If you have evidence I would love to see it.
  21. I'm missing? The print run has been discussed about 20 times on 20 different posts for the past 7-8 years and it was always lower than 7500. Now out of left field the print run is being questioned with no evidence and I'm the one who does not get it. Nice bizarro world thinking.
  22. Then what is it? Give a number within 500 copies.
