I recently listed 108? issues on FLD and asked GUIDE for

them. Didn't sell but a few, but, didn't expect to sell but a

few. Only one here that might bust my marble sac are

I have tried to send a good scan too this board. It is too big. I stated it was VF+ on E-Bay. That's true. I try too grade conservatively for E-Bay. Grading is subjective enough. So too guarantee everyone's happiness I graded it VF+. Once they get the book, they cant argue the "condition"of the book. And Metropolis has one listed now as a 9.4 at well over book value @ $500, VF 8.5 @ $120, 7.5 @ $70.

The book I had for sale was a debateable 9.4. 9.2 would be a fair evaluation, so I dont see where $350 is out of line. Anyone want a bigger scan of it, just ask. I will gladly send it your way. And why did I mention the AMS 129?? I was accused of "misleading" any potential bidders. But a listing for a VG AMS 129 @ $595 dosent get the same response?? Anyone here would like to pay that for that book, let me know. I will find one for ya.

Don't feel too bad.

There is a rash of true crooks on eBay lately.

Check the "eBay Batman 11 scam" thread.

That guy is listing stolen scans from comiclink.

That kind of thing puts people on edge...

 

I don't think you are a scam artist or anything, but your starting bids on some of your auctions are somewhat... optimistic.

 

But it's a free country and you can list any comic on eBay and ask $1,000,000.00 for it if you want to pay the listing fees.

Could care less what anyone grades or prices their books. I think that it is a waste of time to care about stuff that isn't a scam or will really affect you!
