Here's one off the beaten path. Playboy cartoonist Dean Yeagle was at the Animation Expo last weekend, so I got him to do his favorite female drawing, Mandy, on a Dark Avengers:

He did one for me a few years back but mandy is looking the other direction. Congrats on a great sketch by a great artist.

He was doing a few of these in SDCC.. he does some awesome pinups..On a blank cover, that is just too cool!

I bought two of his newest hardcover books, and he did a quick sketch in each of Mandy. In one she is looking to the right, and the other she is looking to the left. He's willing to consider commissions too. He lives in the Southern California area. I think the cheapest commission was $250, he said, and the price dictates the size. For a full size drawing of Mandy, I think it's about $1500, but the size is bigger than a bristol board. It's like twenty-something inches by twenty-something inches.

 

He and his wife were just terrific people, too, they were telling me all about his last trip to Europe to some of the shows and comic shops. Anyway, he will be at San Diego next year and may pop up at other shows too.

its a sharpie paint pen, i think someone on the board invented it.

 

the red is alot bolder in person, my scanner blows.
