Attempts to Steal Your Ebay Information! Warning!

If you get this email, please note that it is a fraud and an attempt to steal your identity, according to the eBay Powersellers people (I'm a Silver now, who knew?)

clicking the link by itself it totally harmless (the site is actually blown away- but it would have been harmless before as well). the danger with this scam is actually entering your information on the page and submitting the form believing that it's an ebay page.

Thanks for the repeat heads-up!!

 

Whoever posted this about a month ago helped me out - I subsequently received this fraudulent e-mail 5 times in 2 weeks!

I received this e-mail (I'm not a power-seller) and I forwarded it to customer support over at E-Bay and they jumped right on it. The actual link I received was an invalid site. This was about three to four weeks ago.
