Grade my House of Secrets #95

I've posted my front and back covers below; images are at 50% reduction with descreen.

What I like about this book:

1. structurally sound

2. four solid corners (except for FC top left is a little soft)

 

What I don't like (Defects):

1. scuffle on FC right side that breaks color

2. appearance of a cover stain or particle just to the left of scuffle on FC

3. invisible spine crease that does not break color (have to angle book)

4. scuffle BC top left corner

5. general soiling on BC

6. 30cents written in pencil on BC

7. Cream to Off-White Pages

Quick question--how does CGC view erasing of pencil markings? Is it considered "restored" if I attempt this?

No but never do that!

 

It always makes things worse.

Two wrongs don't make a right, it makes it twice as bad!

It's not worth it to remove it. It's small, unobtrusive, and on the back cover. Shouldn't effect the grade.
