PGM Captain America #111

Sharp corners, some kind of small mark just below the marvel comics corner box ulc, slight wear on top left corner, while the scan looks bone-white, the book in-hand is slightly more off-white. On bc, ul top two small punctures, may be production flaw.

White is VERY hard to grade from a scan because imperfections can hide in the white.

It is a graet looking book 9.4 from the scan. Grade is subjective with book in hand.

I agree. I'm having difficulty because I'm not sure how the various degrees of off-whiteness of the cover might affect. Other than the noted flaws there are no other imperfections on the cover, but its definitely less white than the exposure suggest.

On the other hand, it is much whiter than most copies I have seen of this book.

I'm sure it's a sweet copy - but with the low resolution and overly bright scan ( was auto tone on?) on a whte cover book it is very difficult to judge. From your description it sounds like a 9.2 give or take - but just looking at the scan I wouldn't know if it was an 8.0 or a 9.8
