Time Magazine 3/14/88: Byrne Superman cover. Wow -- 50 seemed "old" to me at the time. Multi-page interior feature on Supes' 50th b-day and the '80s reboot, too. Large piece clipped from one page of the Superman article. Still displays nicely.

FREE w/any purchase from this thread!

CLAIMED!!!

Superman Spectacular: Produced for the overseas market (I think), but also published in the US in 1982. Some consider this book to be the first DC "graphic novel" (at least in terms of the format) -- not super easy to find, no matter how you slice it! Full-color, 48 pages...and a pretty cool pre-Crisis Supes story, too (Superman-Red/Superman Blue)! F/VF.

The Spirit Magazine: #21, 22, 23, 24 -- In the late '70s, Kitchen Sink picked up the numbering where the Warren series left off. New Eisner color covers, no ads, and awesome Eisner interiors, naturally...in glorious black-and-white (the way it should be!) that's guaranteed to help you forget Frank Miller's abomination of a motion picture! All are in the F/VF range.
