Real Life is putting me through the wringer these days. I am about to adopt a child that has been our foster child for almost 2 years. Today I find out my father is in the hospital and about to have stomach surgery but there are other complications. Meanwhile work is hectic due to the long holiday weekend and Im being pulled left and right.

I need a vacation from Real Life.

Give me some good ideas for a long vacation.

Congrats on the adoption! :applause: My wife and are about to start fostering with the hopes of adopting later on. :wishluck:

Sorry to hear about your father :sorry:

Work? :sumo: I feel your pain.

Vacation: I don't know if you've ever been to Victoria, Canada - my wife and I went there spur of the moment after the now infamous "dog eats passport/ruins Mexico vacation" fiasco. We had a great time! Lovely city, great restaurants, nice people, plenty to do indoors and out. We had such a great time we have decided to retire there when that time comes.

I hope you're able to find a good destination for your vacation (thumbs u
