SDCC passes tonight

11 posts in this topic

They started doing this on June 25, listing a few tickets per day at 7:00 p.m. PST with a BIN price that is supposedly the original ticket price plus a small handling fee to cover the additional labor and other fees for processing the changes. The tickets have been snatched up instantly, of course. They have sold 375 of them on eBay since June 25, both single day and 4-day passes.

Glad SDCC is a non-profit group, as they are scalping returned tix on eBay. Think SDCC will greatly increase the cost of pre-paid tix for August, 2010 once they see the hammer results :P?

Selling 4-day tickets for $85 can't really be considered scalping.

Anyone know the schedule of ticket sales? They had them at 7pm two nights, but then last night they didn't have any for sale. Are they going to sell anymore?

Nope, they sold last night (7/7) at 7pm Pacific too. Like most nights, they're sold out by 7:02. Here's a completed listing search for "2009 Comic-Con Membership":

I would suggest opening one of those completed auctions, and clicking "See sellers other items". Right now it'll show nothing, but refresh right at 7pm, and they'll be there.
