Dang. That's the truth. I heart Pumas, but they don't seem to be as popular around here. Hey Chrom - how about some Hugo Boss? I saw a kick-azz pair when I was in the Netherlands that I've never seen over here, but I couldn't drop that much dough on sneakers.

 

BTW, for the record, "Christine" is not an ancient, hulking Plymouth, but a Mercedes E320. (Although until last fall, for the entirety of my 26 year driving career I owned nothing but 1970-76 Mopars.) German engineering - feh!
