Hi burntboy: Yes I do. I've been really lucky over the years. Met alot of really nice people and had the oppurtunity to own alot of nice books. I have only collected what I really liked not as an investment, for selfish reasons, but you can never recapture your youth. Only some of the memories.

Quick lession.

Do everthing you keep doing, you're on track with that part.

After you post go and view your own attachment. At the top you will see the new address that the board has assigned your pic.

Right click and then copy that address.

Hit back and go to your thread, but do not open it.

On the far right there is an "edit" button. click it.

Your thread should be open now.

down and to the right there is an "image" button. Click it.

A new box should open up with a "Http//" in it, delete that stuff. Put your cursor in the box and right click. Paste the address info in there and hit ok.

Now you are finished, just have to hit the change button, the pic should come up. Hit the change button again and it should be posted for all to see! cloud9.gif

Now give me 5 stars! 27_laughing.gif

How about a quick lesson so you guys don't have to do that for me

When you view your attachment, the URL looks like this:

http://boards.collectors-society.com/attachments//357201-Showcase359.6Wpa.jpg.jpg

(ya probably don't need the multiple .jpg tags btw)

so then edit your original message using the Instant UBB Code provided below. Click on "Image," you get a pop-up window. Just paste in the above url so it looks like

your url goes here

Then preview it before submitting and you should now see your image in the body of the text, like this:

357201-Showcase359.6Wpa.jpg.jpg

NOTE: On my browser, the pop-up window is prepopulated with the http:// prefix and when I cut&paste a url, I get duplicate http://http:// This won't work! so be sure to edit the correct url.

I'll have to admit I don't really collect DC comics but even I am jelous of your DC books. Makes me want to collect DC wink.gif

Eric

If you're selling your entire collection (as indicated in your Marketplace thread) then you not only don't collect DC's, you don't collect any comics. grin.gif

It's not a hard sell really I'm shopping it around to a few dealers and seeing what it is worth. The crash talk has me kind of spooked and honestly I'm 22 and will be out of college in six months so I need a nest egg to start my life with. Can you say car? 27_laughing.gif

Not really sure what I want anymore but according to the talks I've had with some big name dealers I'm not going to get the money I want so I'll either keep it or sell it piecmeal on ebay.
