San Diego Comic Con Artist Appearances at Splash Page Comic Art Booth 4400

Hey all,

I thought I'd let you all know of the artists that we'll have appearing at our row of booths # 4400 at the San Diego Comic Con.

 

Lee Bermejo, John Higgins, Cameron Stewart, Ben Templesmith & Chris Weston will be appearing at the Splash Page booths # 4400 this year. John Higgins, the colorist of the Watchmen, is making his first US convention appearance!

 

Sketching & signing times:

 

Lee Bermejo Artist of Wednesday Comics Superman & The Joker Hard Cover.

 

Lee will take on 5 commissions beginning Thursday morning, first come first serve. They will be $500 and will be detailed pencils with some inks on 11X14" paper.

 

Thur 2PM-6pm, Fri 9AM-10:30am & 1PM-3pm, Sat 12PM-2:30pm & Sun 12PM-3pm.

 

John Higgins Artist of Razorjack, Judge Dredd & colorist of the Watchmen.

 

Commissions will start Thursday & will be $40 for small & $100 for 11X14"

 

Thur 2PM-6pm, Fri 10AM-4pm (minus lunch), Sat 10AM-12PM & 4PM-7pm, Sun 2PM-4pm.

 

Cameron Stewart Artist of Seaguy, Catwoman & Apocalypstix.

 

Commissions will start Thursday & will be $40 for small & $100 for 11X14". Cameron will have a signed & numbered (to 100) Catwoman print available at Comic Con.

 

Thur 9AM-12pm, Fri 2PM-6pm, Sat 1PM-3PM Sun 12PM-2pm.

 

Ben Templesmith Artist of Wormwood Gentleman's Corpse & 30 Days of Night.

 

Commissions will start Thursday & will be $150 for small & $250 for 11X14".

 

Thur 10AM-2:30pm & 6-7pm, Sat 10AM-12:30 & 3-7pm & Sun 10:30AM- 12:30 & 3-5pm.

 

Chris Weston The artist of the Twelve, the Filth, Enemy Ace & more.

 

Commissions will start Thursday & will be $40 for small & $100 for 11X14".

 

Thur 10AM-2pm & 5-7pm, Sat 10AM-5pm (minus lunch) & Sun 10AM-2pm.

Why no Charlie Adlard, Mark?

Charlie is busy working on keeping the schedule for Walking Dead on time, and it is costly to take time out of your schedule, not to mention the financial cost from the UK to the US. Maybe next year. I will have Walking Dead Issue 63 originals with me though.

I like Ben's art a lot - I thought his con sketch prices were a bit steep.

 

But since his lists are usually full, he's apparently got it right.
