If there is a sticker they're worth more. No sticker, not worth as much. First movie stuff does well b/c the merchandising was an afterthought and not much made. By the time ESB came out they were ready. You can't go wrong, but it might be a single/double instead of a HR.

Went to a little local comic show today and picked up these 8 books for a total of $2. The show appeared to be horrible for buying anything that wasn't overpriced, beat up or 90's dreck. I stopped by a booth with about 12 long boxes and the older lady was selling some of her late husband's books. Tons of 90's stuff like 2099, etc. . But the Conan #37 caught my eye so I went through it a bit more.

Found a 35cent variant, Belit's 2nd appearance, the #37 (someone used it as a coaster on the back cover so it's probably a G2.0 at best.) I already own all of them in better shape (except the 35 cent variant) but I couldn't resist for $2. The TPB of Superman was worth it alone for the read.

Now, this I got for free from a friend this summer. It's a hard cover of the #17 (1987) OSPG. Do these truly go for what OSPG says they do? I would say this is a Fine 6.0.

I found this original owner collection from a 60 yr. old guy on Craig's List.

I wasn't prepared what he brought to our meet up today. Two long boxes filled with Silver Age DCs and Bronze X Mens....

There were also Copper Age keys like Dark Knight Returns 1-4, Watchmen, Wolverine 1-4 Mini series, Miller run of DD and New Mutants.

I am now in the process of scanning and grading and it will ALL BE FOR SALE !...Included are Flash 129, 137, 139, Green Lantern 22, 59, Hulk 102, 181, Brave and Bold 54, Teen Titans 1, Showcase 59, Hawk and Dove 1, Showcase 73, 75....

My head is literally spinning from this incredible find.

Here's just a small handful of the books

Thanks !.....You can't believe the stuff I am going through ! - Runs of Adventure Comics, X Men, Superboys.....just great books !

Nice finds...it's strange that someone would sell these on craiglists, he must have known about the keys?

Can you give us a ballpark of what you snagged this at...? :)

This brings memories! This was the 1st OSPG I bought, still have it somewhere.. I studied it inside out and it shows lol.. Albeit the Disney cover this had Indie B&W boom hype written all over it!

How funny! That was my first OSPG too! I'll have to get around to re-acquiring one these days for nostalgia's sake.

Somewhere between $1 and $1,000,000.00

Don't ask someone else their business, esp. on a public message board. What difference does it make?

I was just curious, not a big deal. Sorry to have offended you, your highness.
