Maybe there will be a large dealer out there that will buy up all the Wolvie 9.8 & 9.6 slabs and control the market like the diamonds out of Africa.
:roflmao: VERY unlikely! :roflmao:

i think someone was trying to do that with ASM 300 a couple of years before Spidey 3 came out. The guy who bought a slabbed 9.4 from me had seemingly bid on, and bought, hundreds of other copies (ok, maybe dozens, at some point I couldn't read his feedback that far back).

Someone else was buying copies of ASM 41 in quantity, but not just slabs.

Trying to hoard a book with an Alpha Flight #1 type print run would b e something wise comic dealers would not venture into. Than again Mile High comics is out of stock on Wolverine Limited #1, so maybe he can buy them up. hm

There was a guy who advertised back in the OPG in 1990 or 1991 who was trying to do that with Spectacular Spider-Man # 1. NM guide at the time was $10-$12; the guy was offering $14 per or $1500 per hundred, I believe.
