In particular, I'd like to get people's thoughts on whether this book is, as I think it is, trimmed at the top and right edges.

trimming has been something i`ve always had a hard time with -- i`m pretty good with resto , but it looks OK to me as far as a possible trim - if it was trimmed , it was a bad job -- i`d say a 4.5

Trimming is very hard/impossible to tell just from a scan. But from what I can see. The book appears to be OK to me, no trimming. 4.0 Possible 4.5 In hand. IMHO

Hard to tell from a scan - but it looks slightly uneven on the rt. side - is that what leads you to believe it may have been trimmed? The top looks more like overhang wear.

It seems uneven on the top edge and the upper half of the right. The urc seems to be inconsistent with the condition of rest of the book. However, the spine roll makes it difficult to really tell - if it was trimmed, it would have been long ago. I tried comparing this to JvR11's slabbed copy (see below), but it was inconclusive.
