Dog Days of Summer and Cover Dents

My dog decided to pounce on a few of my comics that were bagged and boarded. This caused a cover dent on some. Does anyone know how CGC treats cover dents, or light scrapes that do not break color? I have seen this on other books, and they are often only visible when the book is tilted at an angle under bright light. I would scan, but it probably couldn't be seen from the scan. Opinions welcome.

What condition were the books in before?

 

If HG it could be downgraded as much as several grades depending on how severe and how many dents there are. It sounds like the dent on your books might affect the entire book. This is not good.

 

Did you tell your doggy, "bad doggy, no more pouncing on my comics!"

There were at least 9.4 otherwise, and yes he is in the "doghouse"

Sounds like good dog if he was able to confine his pouncing to just your comic.

no color broken at all. can only be seen when tilted at an angle under bright light.

 

like the cat picture. now i know what my cat is doing when he disappears for days on end. guess it is better money that he get's at home!!
