That's an ugly book

I cannot grade but even I would not put this thing anywhere over Poor...Qualified or nor. Isn't qualified for books with a major defect but otherwise good ones? Because part of the art missing from each page does not sound as one defect...

Not a book anyone would want if there was an even slightly better copy to be had - isn't that a pretty good definition of poor?

I feel this is one of the issues with the "Qualified" grade, the pricing still needs to reflect the overall grade and really should be used only for higher grade copies with non-grade related defect.

 

One question would be whether Comiclink just plugs in the grade and it generates the "The Overstreet Price Guide lists this item in the condition offered for $618" comment or if it manually enetered, it could have just been an oversight.

I think that is what the "-" is for. the complete grade is "VG" and then "-" as in: minus the bottom right corner.

Sounds pretty accurate to me.

 

I don't know seems kind of pointless trying to assign a grade to a book with that much damage?

At first glance, I thought "VG- seems like a good grade..." and then I saw the bottom. Good golly miss molly, why isn't this book graded lower? Yeesh.
