Can you elaborate on this statement? I only ask because this person has several

comics that have been graded by CGC, wondering if the grades are legit. The

9.6 FF#1 that this person used to own was in question sometime back, this statement you make has me thinking.

He just means that CGC basically helped to cause a huge escalation in prices and took Doug's collection into the stratosphere from mere expensive collectible to extremely valuable commodity.

 

I'm sure Doug gets special treatment -- I don't believe Doug gets special grades.

All of the books on the site are legit. I was making a joke because Doug's collection became worth a lot more after it got graded.

 

There is nothing in question about the FF #1 9.6, it was just one of the 1st 10 books graded by CGC.
