I'll tell you the same thing I tell Park when he makes similar demands.

You are adorable. lol

I do have some news, however.

I expect a substantial change in my life three weeks from today. If all goes as planned, this thread will have a major update and copious pictures.

You may begin speculating...........now.

Low- for every post made, Tup and I go into the barrens and plant cedars.

Also, man made climate change is a chimera, so that helps.

But mainly, cedar planting. Constant. In fact, off I go again.

High- for every cedar planted I crank up my coal stove by ten degrees

High - The network of electrical gadgets required to connect to this journal must be kept humming by generation of Watts, not by wind power or algae, but by pure and base type fossil fuels. The Giga is staggering.

Tupenny's central command alone carries 9 monitors, two phones, fax, Tup text server. I wield a mightily Wi-Fi arsenal myself.

And there is no barren FL. Those are orange groves or alligator nests!

Can you like a song but be against the words in it?

Maybe, but I can't understand the words to "Gangnam Style."

The purist would say the words matter, but I only like the way the words sound in rhythm. Actually understanding them makes me cringe.

Can I enjoy the art but not the subject?

Can I like the feeling but not the result?

I can't resist Good Brother Dover, so I'll play. I'm game.

I love this song. I love the music. I love the lyrics. I love the art.

Do I agree with the lyrics? Believe in the lyrics? Endorse the lyrics?

I wouldn't think of it. In fact, I haven't thought of it until just now.

There are a couple System Of A Down songs that I like. That is, I Iike the music, but not their ideas presented in the lyrics.

Now that you mention it, I like to listen to Rage Against the Machine sometimes. I'm pretty sure I am not down with their message, but f it. They throw it down.

They do rock even though they pretty much suck.

Agree.

That's actually the first band that came to mind.
