He will be at the annual meeting of the SECNCS in Asheville, NC on September 26. However, it is a private event. I'm not sure if you can contact the SECNCS about attending or not. Details HERE

 

I don't think he ever makes appearances at comic book conventions. I met him at the AACC Dinner during the San Diego Comic-Con in 2000, but he only attended the dinner, he didn't appear at the convention for the EC 50th anniversary celebration with the other EC creators.
