WHITE PAGES now rule at Comiclink

10 posts in this topic

Anyone notice how the listings at Comiclink now indicate page quality BEFORE you click on the individual listing?

This never used to be the case.

But it only indicates page quality if the pages are WHITE.

Just another sign of the premium the market is placing on white pages.

it seems now that white pages are so much in demand compared to 4-5 years ago. i bought 3 amaz spideys(203-205 cgc 9.8s off white-white) for $130 off of heritage and then one of those by itself with white sells for right at the same. i would rather have white but would not pay any higher for it with the same grade.

It's so rediculous really white pages are nice, but you cant even tell the difference between cream-off white vs.off white vs. white.I really dont think CGC even knows most of the time.I like the designation on my slabs but will never pay a premium for it.

A great marketing idea on their part. A white paged copy will always appear to be the superior copy, providing all else remains the same in QP. Hooked me into looking at several books while browsing :shy:

Yea. Great idea. Until some guy with a bunch of Avengers books lists them today and calls them all White pages even when they're not. doh!

lol
