Hello all for those that submit regularly what do you think the chances are of getting a decent grade (9.2 or better) if I submit it to CGC?

 

Interior pages are nice and white, cover and centerfold well attached. No hidden defects. Book has great colors in hand, super gloss and great reflectivity.

I definitely agree, and would say it's a 9.2 - 9.4, in all honesty, i think it's a 9.4, but i'd expect a 9.0 - 9.2

There seems to be a slight bend running the length of the spine on the back cover Bill, does that go through the whole book?

Potential fingerprint? on the middle FC right edge where the colour fading is happening may prevent it from grading that high.

Great question Gav. The book is actually perfectly flat. (I just pulled it out and looked at it again. That's got to be some whacky scanner thing.

Looking at the spot under a 30x loop it looks like color didn't take. There's no loss of reflectivity on that spot at all. Hope this helps.

It would be close for a 9.2.

Sounds like the owner is saying that the color rub appears to be a printing defect. If that is so, then probably an easy 9.2+ at CGC. Nice copy!
